Friend's Lunch.

My lunch, forgot what's it called but it's from a really popular famous restaurant in Myeongdong.

On the 17th, my friends and I went to Myeongdong. We decided to have lunch there before we headed to Namsan tower. Took the shuttle bus to the cable cart and then took that up to the tower.

Before going up to the tower, we went to inside the teddy museum. I went there last year, so there wasn't anything new. However, I did have heaps of fun in there regardless.

We made it to the sunset when we got to the tower. Unfortunately, facing Sydney didn't give us the view of the sunset, but that's ok. The tower was really popular and crowded. We did get some spectacular views.

Later on that night, we went back to Hongdae for dinner. Some this unusual bbq dish. The ahjumma was soo cute at that restaurant, she pinched my cheek and being very helpful.

On Friday, my friend's in-laws took us to lunch in Ilsan. A shabu shabu buffet! We part from my friend's in-laws and went shopping around Fiesta and the other place which I forgot heh. We also played coin baseball! I got to do that again! That was heaps of fun! We ended up in Homeplus and found some pokemon toys. I'm going back there and buying the Eevee toy.

Yesterday, went to Hongdae free market. No, the market isn't free. Artist can apply and set up their works for free and sell there things. The things they sell and at a reasonable price because they don't have to pay for rent, which won't boost up their price. GREAT CONCEPT! The markets we have in Sydney are incredibly expensive. Why can't we do something like that. 

My friends ended up going to a Starcraft convention expo thingo and I stayed back in Hongdae shopping. I bought some shorts and a awesome shirt from UniQlo. Decided to head home and shopped for food at the local Emart. Some ramen, Yakult, Banana milk and snacks for when I just want to chill.

Today I went to Myeongdong again by myself. I was desperately in need for new shoes. The shoes I brought with me were killing my feet. After a long day looking for ones I want I finally bought ones from Skono. There was few other pairs I really liked but the two was too expensive, the other didn't have my size because it only went up to 250 and I'm either a 255 or 260. So I ended up buying the ones that were on sale. I may go back and buy the ones I like that comes in my size.

The room I'm staying in isn't too bad. I wish I had a desk though but that's ok. There's nothing much I can say about it. The photos actually make the room like nice haha.

Yesterday was a chilled day. Actually, must of my time here in Korea is going to be chilled. I want a relaxing carefree trip and that's what I want. Japan on the other hand is going to be quite epic.

I went to Seoul Station to get myself a simcard at Premium Travel Center. As I got there I asked for the EG Simcard and I wanted the ￦30,000 in the micro sim. Unfortunately the lady sold the last one to the man that was doing something in the room, FUUUUU~! I ended up buying the ￦50,000, which is ok. At least I can call and text XD.

I headed to Dongdaemun to meet up with Sophie and later her sister Cazz and her boyfriend Adam. Checked out this one vintage store which is amazing. I should have taken some photos. They had amazing small bottles! Going back there to buy them =D.

We browsed around in the shopping centres. It was extremely hot in there. Apparently when it's 'cold' season they turn off the airconditioner regardless to what the weather will become. It was nice a cool yesterday but the moment you go inside the centres it's like a sauna. I got put of shopping quite fast. Although at night it was too bad.

After Sophie left to go back to her in-laws, Cazz, Adam and I stuck around and went back to Hongdae to eat at Taco Bell! Oh I miss that place!!! We just ended up chilling there until I had to catch my almost last train. Luckily it was only one station away =D.

OH yeh, Korea has the most fastest internet in the world. I wanted to download some movies, hehe. But I find it strange that I can't torrent. I was able to do it last year, I was thinking maybe the owner somehow was able to block you from torrenting... Maybe I'll try it at my friends house lol. >.>

The Korea/Japan Journey Begins

My journey begins yet again.  As I am typing this, it’s 1:30pm Sydney time and 3844 km from the ground. Interesting right? Not really. Like I said in the earlier entries, I’m heading to Tokyo, Japan at the moment for a transit flight to Seoul, Korea. I should be sleeping at the moment since I only had 3 hours sleep but I felt like writing this.

This time round I won’t be doing as much videos as I did before like my last trip to Korea. I prefer to do epic videos to places I’ve never been to. It’s a completely new and different experience to when you go the second time. I find going to places the first time, the best. A brand new adventure, exploring places by myself, getting lost and achieving something new. Yes, I’m a lonely traveler and I quite like it that way.

Today is my day of existence. Didn't do anything much, just hung out with my best friend in the city. She gave me this awesome gift though!

I'm really into traditional things at the moment. I think it's the influence of Harry Potter heh. So, this gift is perfect! I don't think I'll use it though because it's just too pretty.

I should really pack though, I have quite a bit to do. I have to wake up about 5am for my flight at 9am. Definitely going to sleep!

Studio Ghibli Museum Ticket

I've been to Japan twice and I've never been to Studio Ghibli Museum. This time round I'm making sure I'm going! I got my friend who is from Japan to book tickets for me as it's cheaper. It's only ¥1000 when you book it from the Lawson convenient store. If I was to purchase them here in Australia via JTB I would have paid $20, which is pretty much double! So I have to thank my friend for doing this for me, she was worried that she actually rushed to Lawson to purchase them for me as the tickets were released today for next month.

I can finally go there now! woo~
